Back in 2001 Ridgeback created an entirely new genre of fast commuter sports bike - the flat bar road bike. Quite simply, it's a road racing bike equipped with a straight, mountain bike handlebar.
Since then the category has undergone considerable evolution and is now available in two distinctly different styles. The Flight series is a highly versatile, disc brake equipped, more rugged version of the concept whilst Ultraflight embodies the fundamentals of the original design.
Agile commuter or comfortable training bike, with a close clearance frame, tough wheelset and responsive road tyres, Ultraflight blends nimble handling and fast acceleration for an exceptionally smooth ride.
