What is the saddle height range on Scoot?

The two extremes for the saddle height on Scoot are as follows … in lowest position, the scoot saddle is 14” from top of saddle to ground and in the highest position when fitted with the longer seat post the height is 20”. The stand-over height (crotch to ground) is about 12½” or 320mm.

Does Ridgeback supply touch up paint?

Unfortunately we don’t sell touch up paint due to the painting process used. Your best bet is to go to an automotive retailer or similar and try to match the colour with a car touch up paint.↑ top

Your Ridgeback dealer will be able to identify the part you need so please progress this matter with them directly as they’re best placed to offer advice on spare parts. All spare parts are supplied via Ridgeback stockists.↑ top

All dealers are independent businesses so unless you take it back to the dealer where you bought the bike, expect to pay for any checking or servicing. For this reason as well as general convenience, we always recommend buying your bike from your local dealer.↑ top

My 2005 Meteor needs new decals. Can you send me a set?

All decals are ‘water fix’ and are intended to go under lacquer. They also have a short shelf life. Therefore for these reasons we are unable to offer replacement decals.↑ top

You’ll appreciate that it’s impossible for us to comment from this distance. Please progress the matter through your Ridgeback stockist who is best placed to assist with this type of issue. All frames are guaranteed for the life of the original owner, subject to usual conditions.↑ top

There are too many products out there for us to be able to offer specific compatibility advice. Please discuss this matter with your dealer who’s best placed to offer advice on accessories and spare parts.↑ top

Currently we don’t sell outside of the UK and we don’t offer a direct sales service. I believe that certain larger Ridgeback stockists offer an export service but you will need to phone around to check.↑ top

Sorry to hear of your difficulties in trying to find this bike. Whilst one of the best touring bikes on the market today, the Panorama is definitely one of our less mainstream models and as all our dealers are ‘independent’ retailers, it’s difficult for us to influence their stocking decisions. In our experience, virtually all customers end up buying the bike that a dealer has bought in & as such the risk is low for the dealer so we suggest that you talk to your local dealer to see if something can be worked out.↑ top

Whilst we can offer a suggestion as to what size you need, we always recommend that you visit your dealer to be sized correctly. Different models have different sizes and standover heights and as such you might need one size in one series & a different one with another type of bike. Your Ridgeback stockist can also make sure you’ve measured yourself accurately. ↑ top

This facility is no longer available. Essentially it was a courtesy service so an owner could keep their frame number in cyber space. We suggest that you go to www.bikeregister.com or www.immobilise.com to officially record your details or less formally … write the frame number & any other relevant details into an email, along with a picture of the bike & email it to yourself. ↑ top

      We would recommend visiting your local Ridgeback Dealer. They will be well placed to fit/supply the replacement headset components.
